MT Gov. Orders Closure of Bars, Restaurants, more…

Montana’s governor ordered bars, restaurants, movie theaters, gyms and other gathering places statewide to close Friday and braced the state for an extended fight against the coronavirus. The action from Gov. Steve Bullock comes after the first case of illness was reported from a rural area. Bullock’s office says closures originally set to expire next week are likely to be extended, including for public K-12 schools. The rural area case involves a female patient in her 70s from Roosevelt County who acquired the virus during a recent international trip. Fifteen positive cases have been reported in Montana.
