On the evening of December 11th, 2023, at approximately 7:30 pm, Law Enforcement and Emergency Services from several agencies, including the Slope County Sheriffs Department, responded to a residence in Marmarth, North Dakota regarding a reported shooting. Upon arrival, a juvenile gun-shot victim was discovered. The juvenile victim was transported to Southwest Healthcare in Bowman, North Dakota and was pronounced dead prior to arrival at the hospital.
No charges have been filed in this matter at this time and the investigation is on-going. No further comment will be made until such time as the investigation has been completed.
