The third annual Water Safety Day hosted by the Fallon County Health Department on the shores of Baker Lake brought out a crowd of nearly 100 on Thursday.

After a lunch of hotdogs and chips Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks department warden Oliver Gulig gave a presentation covering water safety and boating regulations.

Officer Gulig mainly focused on water safety and regulations for kids, such as age and situational requirements for life jacket use.

After the presentation, the Fallon County Health Department handed out life jackets and prizes to those present who had registered beforehand. Many of the life jackets were put to immediate use at the swim beach.
