July 14, 2024: The day after the storm has revealed the damages of the storm that swept through our area last night. There is a great deal of tree damage; downed power lines, buildings that were crushed or severely damaged, roofs partially ripped off and crops wiped out.

Southeast Electric is working endless hours to restore power, but it maybe later tonight or tomorrow before they can get the power back on.

The Camp Crook Community Center is open for those who are needing relief from the heat. There is a large area of Southeast Electric patrons that are out of power and it sounds like it is going to be a while before it is restored. Please check in on your neighbors and feel free to utilize the Camp Crook Community Center.

Please be safe…..
