The Golden Valley County Historical Museum in Beach is a bright star in making history last. The museum officially opened in 1976 and now has 4 buildings with over 2,000 exhibits and collections. In addition to it’s unique rooms and items, the museum features Heritage Boxes, a creative idea that I have not seen in any other museum. The museum is open Tuesday thru Friday, 9am to 1pm from Memorial Day to Labor Day. On the off season you can call and make a special appointment to tour the museum.
