Wibaux County’s Carlyle Road has been closed between Highway 7 and West Ash Creek Lane in order to replace the Carlyle Bridge over Beaver Creek. The closure is expected to last until June 22nd.
Carlyle Bridge was originally constructed in 1960. A report by the National Bridge Inventory from August of 2023 listed the bridge condition as “poor” citing structural deficiencies in the bridge superstructure, which included “advanced section loss, deterioration, spalling or scour”.
