Talking Montana Shakespeare in the Parks with Riley O’Toole

Montana Shakespeare in the Parks is on tour for their 53rd season of bringing productions of Shakespeare’s plays to communities not only in Montana but North Dakota, Wyoming, and Idaho! The plays are free to watch- this year Shakespeare in the Parks will be performing “As You Like It” and “Henry V”.

Here, Associate Artistic Director Riley O’Toole details how Montana Shakespeare in the Parks has carried out their mission for 53 seasons, how plays are selected for the tour, and we get a small glimpse into his work as Hamlet!

Thank you for spending some time with us and sharing your knowledge, Riley!

The tour will bring “As You Like It” to Beach on June 30th, Glendive July 1st, and “Henry V” to Ekalaka July 2nd, with all shows beginning at 6:30 (but as you’ll hear in the conversation with Riley, it’s worth showing up early)!
