The Enchanted Highway is worth the trip when you are looking for a fun drive for the family. This 32 miles stretch of highway between Regent and Gladstone takes you through beautiful scenery, populated with large metal sculptures along the road. There are 6 sculptures and all of them have a parking lot so you can stop, take pictures, have a picnic or just relax while enjoying the scrap metal art. I have been down the Enchanted Highway, but always from the north to south route. They say you should always travel every road in both directions as the view changes. I have found that to be very true and plan to travel the Enchanted Highway from Regent to Gladstone.
