The Beach Airport hosted their first fly-in in conjunction with the Bottom Line Aviation Poker Run last Saturday. 11 planes landed in Beach to enjoy a meal, visit with other pilots and the public. Planes flew in from Baker, Plevna, Glendive, Hettinger, Scranton, Bismarck and Fairview. One of the pilots brought along their family dog for his first ever plane ride. Sanford Med brought in their AirMed plane from Dickinson for folks to tour. According to Don Hardy several other planes did not make it due to heavy fog in their area. This is the 5th year for the fly-in with Bottom Line. Previous years the fly-in was held at the Bowman Airport and Watford City Airport. Brent with Bottom Line said he would like to get more airports involved.
