Baker High School now has a HOSA Future Health Professionals chapter (formerly Health Occupation Students of America). The mission of HOSA, according to hosa.org, is “to empower HOSA-Future Health Professionals to become leaders in the global health community, through education, collaboration, and experience.”

Chapter advisor Linda Rost, chapter Vice President Nattie Hester, and Reporter/Historian Kaydree Anderson spoke with Radio Baker’s Blake Matheson about the new chapter and their upcoming fundraising events, the Zombie Glow Run and Halloween face painting!

The Zombie Run will take place Saturday, November 1st, and will begin at the Baker Lake Gazebo. Painting begins at 5 pm, and the run/walk will begin at 6 pm.
